Man's best friend

On the opposite side of La Moneda Palace, which I showed you here, is the Plaza de la Constitución (Constitution Square). In the surroundings of La Moneda you can see many stray dogs, who became famous last march, when thirty of them were put to sleep to avoid problems during celebrations that would take place when President Bachelet took office. This caused great controversy and now people love them!

Une manifestation de chiens, ca aurait ete amusant a voir. Ils les ont seulement endormis ? et apres les chiens sont revenus ou ont-ils ete transportes dans un autre endroit ?

It looks like a lovely square. Sad result for the stray dogs but I guess a pack of dogs could be dangerous.

Olivier: with "put to sleep" I meant they were killed... As Photowannabe says, a sad end for the dogs. The saddest part is that these dogs were very friendly and were fed by people who worked near the square.
