The cartoonist and Valparaiso
Finishing my Lukas series, I wanted to show you this drawing. It was inspired by Lukas' love for Valparaiso, harbor city and capital of Chile's fifth region. It's located 120 Km to the Northwest of Santiago and has many must-see landmarks and an interesting cultural life. If you come to Santiago, you have to spend a couple of days in Valparaiso (more info here, available in english).

Hi,
not a comment about the photo (though it is really good and I must check out more of Lukas' cartoons) - just thought I would pay a visit to your blog since you were kind enough to stop by mine. I love these daily photo sites - you really get to see a whole lot of the world this way and not from the perspective of travel guides. I have been posting a few photos of Belfast but have not worked up the courage to go for a Belfast daily photo yet - I must do that before someone beats me to the punch.
